T1 Entertainment & Sports, an international esports organisation, has partnered with CAA Sports, a division of entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency.
CAA Sports will represent the organisation for sponsorships and endorsements under the agreement. T1’s Korean great player Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok has also signed with CAA Sports.
This isn’t the first time CAA Sports and Creative Artists Agency has dabbled in esports. Last year, the agency partnered with 100 Thieves, a North American organisation. Riot Games’ League of Legends and VALORANT franchises have also benefited from CAA Sports’ global and regional sponsor collaborations.
T1 is primarily recognised for its Korean League of Legends team, despite being created in North America. In League of Legends, T1 has won three World Championships and ten LKC titles, all of which Sang-hyeok has contributed to.
