KARACHI: A case was heard in Sindh High Court (SHC) against K-Electric regarding the prolonged power outages in Karachi.
The K-Electric lawyer said on Thursday in SHC that the recent interruption in the power supply is due to the no supply of gas by the Sui Southern Gas Company.
Lawyer K-Electric maintained that despite the court order, the required gas supply was not met and the shortage of gas leads to the recent power shortfall in the metropolitan city.
The lawyer also claimed that due to the non-responsive attitude of the concerned departments, the electric supply company has been facing difficulties.
