Fishermen in Odisha, India, narrowly missed death after being battered by Cyclone Asani’s powerful sea waves.
The crew were on the vessel when the huge waves slammed and toppled it, according to video. Fortunately, they made it to the shore safely.
The cyclone is wreaking havoc on Andhra Pradesh and Odisha’s north coasts.
The men can be seen nearing the shore in the footage but quickly losing their balance as huge waves continue to smash them.
The men were reportedly stranded in the sea waves at Aryapalli near Chatrapur in the Ganjam district, according to ANI.
Flight operations at Visakhapatnam airport have also been halted due to the strong winds.
