Iran’s Revolution Guards

Iran’s Revolution Guards

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) of Iran started an artillery bombardment against terrorist groups’ bases in Erbil, Iraq’s northern Kurdistan region, early Wednesday, according to Iran’s semi-official Tasnim news agency.

According to an IRGC statement, the terrorists’ bases and headquarters were destroyed in the IRGC Ground Forces’ strike. So yet, no injuries or property damage have been recorded.

According to the IRGC Ground Forces, the strike was undertaken after a group of Erbil-based terrorists were apprehended in Iran’s northeastern border city of Baneh based on earlier intelligence operations.
According to the IRGC, the five terrorists captured admitted to “wicked intents of executing acts of sabotage” against Iran.
