Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday announced filing a reference against the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Sindh member, Nisar Durrani, in the supreme judicial council.
While talking to the media outside the ECP office in Islamabad, PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry said they are launching a legal struggle against the ECP. He added that they are also mulling bringing a reference against the chief election commissioner (CEC).

He said, “The CEC should take an office in the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N). The political leadership has lost confidence in him.”
He added that the ECP is incomplete as the members from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) are not there, which is the representation of half population of the country.
