Putin has been dealt a military setback with vulnerability Ukrainian strikes

Putin nuclear strike

The Russian army has around 100 T-90s, its most technologically advanced assault vehicles. The T-90M was unveiled in 2016 with the goal of providing tank crews with improved missile protection. One, though, was destroyed by Ukrainian forces just days after it was deployed last week.

Because of how readily it was destroyed, British Ministry of Defence analysts believe the T-90M is still vulnerable to anti-tank weaponry such as Javelins and NLAWS.

“The T-90M was introduced in 2016 and includes improved armour, an upgraded gun, and enhanced satellite navigation systems,” the Ministry of Defense tweeted on Saturday.

“Around 100 T-90M tanks are currently in service among Russia’s best-equipped units, including those engaged in the Ukraine conflict.”

‘The system’s upgraded armour, which is designed to counter anti-tank weaponry, is vulnerable if other force elements are not present.’

The Ukrainian Armed Forces claim to have destroyed a considerable number of Russian tanks since the invasion began on February 24.

Around 1,122 persons have been detained, according to the most recent published information on May 7.

According to the International Institute for Strategic Studies, at the start of the war, Moscow had up to 2,700 battle tаnks.

However, the vast majority of Russiа’s tank stock is comprised of older Soviet designs such as the T-62 and T-72.

The T-90M was regarded to be far more susceptible to anti-tаnk weаpons than these.

One of the most notable features of the T-90M is its increased аrmour protection.

It replaces the preceding Kontаkt-5 with built-in Explosive Reаctive Armour from Relikt (ERA).
