Domestic violence sufferers have gone to social media to share photos of themselves being abused and the aftermath of their injuries. All to ‘prove’ that Amber Heard lied about being mistreated by Johnny Depp.
It started with a recap of Dr. Shannon Curry’s behavioral statement where she said, “She’s prone to overly dramatic presentations, lots of descriptive flowery words like magical, which lacks any substance. You’ll see quick shifts in emotions and become very animated, to sad.”
Domestic violence survivors and inadvertent victims began posting photographs of ‘headbutts’ and other incidents on Twitter shortly after.

Claimed, “I’m an ACTUAL victim of DV and this woman is absolutely disgusting. I cannot even believe this is a real hashtag! Her recaps of abuse are so hard to watch and any REAL VICTIM knows why”.
Shortly after she was stitched up in the emergency department, the other mother, who was headbutted by her toddler, uploaded a side-by-side comparison image of Heard and her own wounds.

Another used a celebrity as an example, displaying photos of Rihanna’s battered face after three punches and a car trip with her abuser, Chris Brown.

It also contained a reference to Heard, who, despite claiming comparable injuries and a headbutt, attended a talk programme the next day.
In their ‘boredom,’ one social media user chose to mimic Heard’s ‘injuries’ with makeup and tweeted about it, “I made it so you guys could see how easy it is to make like you’ve been slapped with makeup and make it look real”.

Others quickly pointed out her apparent lies on the stand, including not being a fan of Depp’s work and not like to wear red lipstick, despite having been photographed and interviewed attesting to both.
