Isabel used the occasion to pay tribute to her onscreen other half, Matthew, who turned 42 this year.
On Thursday, Isabel Hodgins of Emmerdale professed her love for her on-screen partner, co-star Matthew Wolfenden, on social media.
In the ITV soap, the 28-year-old actress plays Victoria Sugden, and Matthew plays her on-screen boyfriend David Metcalfe.
Matthew celebrated his 42nd birthday on Thursday, and Isabel used the occasion to pay tribute to her onscreen partner.
She shared a video of Matthew driving while Daft Punk’s Around the World was blasting over the car’s speaker on her Instagram Story.
The following photo depicts Matthew in a child’s seat attached to a bicycle, and the third shows him dressed as David in a hospital gown with a solemn expression on his face.

The posts were captioned by Isabel: “@matthewwolfenden55, happy birthday! “I love you, this brilliant human who makes me laugh every single day,” she continued “alongside a funny photo of Matthew looking irritated.
She then posted an old school photo of them together, “All the way back to 2013.”
Following an apparent ‘explosive’ row last year, it appears like the two actors are back to being close friends.

They reportedly got into a heated argument while filming scenes with Aaron Anthony, 30, for the show’s Super Soap Week episode in October 2021.
Tensions are reported to have erupted while filming a big waterfall stunt for a blockbuster episode that aired on October 19 of last year.
“It was very heated,” a source told The Sun on Sunday at the time.
It’s also been alleged that a probe was conducted behind the scenes of the long-running ITV soap to find out how and why the feud began.
