LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PMLN) Deputy Secretary General Attaullah Tarar on Thursday said Farah Khan Gogi’s assets were worth Rs210 million and they rose to Rs850 million during tenure of the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) government.

Talking to media in Lahore, Attaullah Tarar said value of Farah Khan’s assets reached up to Rs850 million till March 2022. Embezzlement of Rs1000 million took place in Punjab and evidence in this regard had started coming out, he said.

He alleged that lands were bought in Punjab by the PTI people before government’s approval for any artery. He said Farah Gogi’s assets outside the country were not counted, which included a flat in the United Arab Emirates.

The PML-N leader said he was happy that former prime minister came Imran Khan in defence of Farah Khan. He also said that if Imran Khan was not the real beneficiary of Farah’s wealth then he should call her back to the country. Imran Khan had embarked upon ‘Save Gogi’ campaign, he maintained.

“Usman Buzdar was the chief minister in the name only, the main job was being done by Farah. She ran the Punjab government in a manner in which even not a private firm is run. She seized national resources. Farah Khan was made owner of every black and white in Punjab. Whatever Farah Gogi earned was as a front man of Imran Khan,” he said.

Attaullah Tarar said Farah Gogi did not have money trail of Rs320 million. She embezzled several thousand millions rupees on wish of Imran Khan.
