Amber Heard recently took the stand and broke her silence on Johnny Depp’s supposedly “inappropriate” activities while shooting The Rum Diary.

“I didn’t understand how much more sophisticated Johnny’s taste in wine was,” she told the judge and jury in a Fairfax, Virginia courtroom, but “I brought him a bottle of this wine and set it down, and at some point, I’m going back to get back to set and he kinda kicked his foot up in the air and basically lifted the back of my bathrobe up.”

Following her lawyer’s intervention, Heard elaborated, saying, “Because I was shooting a scene, it was a historical picture therefore it took place in the 50s,” and “the part entailed me changing so I had the costume on.” underneath the robe.

“So he sorta pushed up the back of my robe with his boot,” she later explained, “and I didn’t know what to make of that, so I just really chuckled and swatted it away playfully.”

But he “playfully pulled me down this bed-sofa in his trailer, really playful and flirting, and he said ‘yum’ and raised his eyebrows.”

“I simply grinned, laughed it off, batted it away, and walked on back on set,” she says.

“I felt this other feeling that went beyond the bounds of my job for sure,” she added later in her statement. Johnny certainly felt that way about me,” and “had conveyed to me in many different ways that that’s how he felt about me.” But, at the same time, we were both in relationships, and it was a profession that was both daunting and demanding.”

“I just remember feeling intimidated and frightened about that,” she stated before closing.
