Boris Johnson told Ukrainian MPs that the West was too slow to respond to Russian aggression in Ukraine.

He warned Ukraine’s friends “cannot make the same mistake”; as they did with the 2014 Crimea invasion while speaking to the Ukrainian parliament via video link.
He claimed that the West had been “too slow to realise what was truly going on”; and says West has “failed” to implement sanctions against Vladimir Putin collectively.
Mr Johnson also announced £300 million in further military help.
Electronic warfare equipment, a counter-battery radar system, GPS jammers, and night-vision gadgets are among the military aid that will be delivered to Ukraine in the coming weeks.
Mr Johnson, who was introduced to MPs in Kyiv by the Ukrainian parliament’s speaker, said Ukraine’s friends must be “humble” because the country was previously invaded in 2014 when Russia took Crimea and started the Donbas war.
