David Beckham has expressed guilt about his lavish wedding gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law Nicola.
When David’s eldest son Brooklyn married Nicola Peltz, a millionaire heiress, David lavished a present on the couple.
Guests were urged to donate to a Ukraine charity to support those affected by war following the wedding at Nicola’s family’s £76 million beach mansion, which reputedly cost £3 million, but David presented the couple with an electric 1954 Jaguar.
David, who turned 47 today, arrived at the ceremony in a baby blue XK140 that had been converted to electric by 120 personnel at the Lunaz restoration and electrification company.
Founder & CEO of Lunaz David Lorenz, said: “In creating this beautiful, electrified Jaguar XK140, we are honoured to bridge the gap between David Beckham’s professional life, where he is an investor in Lunaz and his family life.
“This remarkable car is the perfect gift to his son Brooklyn and daughter-in-law, Nicola on their wedding day.
“In every respect, this extraordinary electric classic car by Lunaz symbolises a bright, positive future.”

David and Spice Girl wife Victoria gave the keys to the newlyweds and let them drive it around, but David now says he regrets doing so.
In a birthday message to Victoria, David shared a photo of him in the Jaguar sitting alongside Victoria.
He wrote: “Should have kept this car, it’s soooo good @lunazdesign, please make me one. Happy birthday mama, @victoriabeckham.”
David’s mother Sandra also commissioned Adam Claridge to design Nicola’s own Nike Air Force 1 sneakers.
Personal artwork were on the shoes, as well as the term ‘Bunny,’ which is her grandmother’s nickname.
