Since the February 24 invasion, an estimated 200,000 information technology employees have deserted Russia, citing worsening economic conditions as the reason.

Following the departure of personnel from Russia, CNews reported that there were roughly 95,000 job openings in the IT business at the end of March. Since then, the company has claimed that the volume of resumes is increasing while the number of job positions is dropping.

According to hh.ru, a Russian recruitment specialist, the number of candidates eager to transfer has topped 40%, with up to 45 percent of Russian programmers opting to work in Europe.
