Some Ukrainians are relocating back to their homeland.
On its Facebook page on Sunday, Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service stated that it has recently noticed an increase in Ukrainians returning; across the western border.
“40,000 people have entered the country in the last 24 hours, 36,000 of whom are Ukrainians”; the service noted, adding that this was the “highest flow of people into Ukraine on the western border since the beginning of the war.”
Since Russia’s invasion, more than 11 million Ukrainians have been displaced.
