Military drills involving tens of thousands of NATO soldiers began on Sunday, according to Poland’s armed services. They are routine drills aimed at boosting the security of the alliance’s eastern flank; however they are taking place this year in the midst of Russia’s conflict with Ukraine.

As a result of these conditions, Poland’s military urged the public not to broadcast information or images of the columns of military vehicles due to pass through the country in the next weeks on Sunday. It cautioned that “rash behaviour” could jeopardise the alliance’s security. The statement said, “Let us be alert of the dangers!”
Defender Europe 2022 and Swift Response 2022 exercises are taking place in Poland and eight other countries, according to the Polish Army. 18,000 soldiers from over 20 nations are participating, according to the Polish Army.
