Adele is in serious discussions to relocate her Zappos Theatre engagement in Las Vegas

After promising that her postponed gigs will happen this year, Adele is in serious discussions to transfer her Las Vegas residency to the Zappos Theatre in Planet Hollywood.

In January, the 33-year-old British actress disappointed fans by cancelling a lucrative series of Caesar’s Palace gigs only 24 hours before her first performance, leaving many admirers out of pocket after paying thousands on tickets and airline tickets to watch her play.

However, according to TMZ, Adele and her team are in’serious negotiations’ with Planet Hollywood to bring her gigs there, with performances likely to begin within months barring any unforeseen circumstances.

The move will come with’major incentives’ for the Easy On Me singer, according to the tabloid, including ‘complete creative control over the programme.’

Adele will also earn a ‘substantial percentage of ticket sales,’ which is a significant increase over her previous arrangement, since Zappos Theater seats 7,000 people vs 4,100 at The Colosseum.

The singer had initially scheduled her Weekends With Adele on January 20th, but had to cancel because to the COVID-19 epidemic.

It was earlier reported that room was being made at the arena for her to perform her biggest songs, with Keith Urban’s residency ending on June 18th and Los Stewart’s scheduled to begin on September 23rd.

‘That is the scheduling that would make the most sense,’ a source told The Sun on Sunday in February when asked about the matter.

Talks are now underway, and it is hoped that Adele’s rescheduled dates will be finalised shortly.

‘She has stated unequivocally that next year is not an option, and everyone is eager to set the dates.’

The delays were originally attributed to the singer’s dissatisfaction with the set design, specifically a swimming pool constructed in the centre of the stage.
