Everything seems to be coming back these days, so why not Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman?
The actress claimed she’s not opposed to the concept in a recent interview with a foreign news publication.
“It would depend on the circumstances, but certainly, I’d think about it,” Pfeiffer said.
It doesn’t sound like Michael Keaton, who co-starred with Pfeiffer in 1992’s “Batman Returns,” would be upset.
He told the publication, “She pulled off the almost impossible combination of sensual, ironic, tragic, dangerous, and just plain good.”
Pfeiffer is presently acting in Showtime’s “The First Lady” as Betty Ford.
And, despite the fact that her career appeared to have halted years ago, she stated in the interview that she was merely focused on rearing her children with her writer and producer husband, David E. Kelley.
“I’d start hearing that I’d retired and think to myself, ‘Wait, no,'” Pfeiffer explained.
For the record, Pfeiffer stated during the interview that she had not yet watched Zoe Kravitz’s performance as Catwoman in “The Batman” since she was not yet comfortable returning to a movie theatre owing to the pandemic.
