Jossara Jinaro’s husband revealed her death news , he wrote, “Even in her last moments, she was still fighting,” Actress Jossara Jinaro died after battling cancer at the age of 48.
Her husband Matt Bogado shared this news through Facbook. Jinaro, appeared in television shows like ER and Passions.
He wrote, “With great sorrow, I announce the passing of my wife, Jossara Jinaro on this date, April 27, 2022,”
He added, “Jossara bravely fought cancer and came home to be surrounded by family.”
“Jossara was an amazing wife, mother, artist, and friend. She had the most beautiful, kind soul and wouldn’t take no for an answer,” Bogado continued. “Even in her last moments, she was still fighting.”
“now resting in peace and will be remembered forever.”
He added “Myself, Liam, and Emrys will miss her so deeply, although we know she is in our hearts and guiding us every step of the way.”
Information on a public memorial in the Bay Area would be published at a later date, according to Bogado.
According to Deadline, Jinaro was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and raised in Colombia. After her stepfather, a diplomat who adopted her, was kidnapped, she moved to the United States with her family. When she was 16, the actress struck out on her own, going to Chicago and signing with an agent. According to the site, as she began to perform, she attracted the notice of another agency, who advised her to relocate to Los Angeles. She began working with Columbia Tri-Star and starred in the Viva Vegas series as Virginia Bustos.
According to the outlet, she has also appeared in prominent shows such as Judging Amy, ER, and Passions, for which she received a GLAAD nomination in 2006.
Her other films include Havoc, which she co-starred in with Anne Hathaway in 2005, and World Trade Center, which she co-starred in with Maggie Gyllenhaal in 2006.
She entered the film festival industry after stepping behind the camera to produce short films and was accepted into Panavision’s filmmaker program. According to IMDB, her work in Desert Road Kill earned her the best supporting actress award at The Los Angeles Reel Film Festival in 2012, as well as the best actress award at The Scarlet Waters Film Festival in the same year.
Her recent role was as Dulce in Nancy Hernandez & The Black Widows, which was premiered last year, and Marina del Rey in 10 Tricks, which is currently in post-production.
