Around 600 Ukrainian refugees have been permitted entry into Northern Ireland.

The actual number of refugees in the region is unknown, although thousands have arrived at Dublin Airport and crossed the border.

However, the Homes for Ukraine scheme resulted in the issue of 598 visas to applicants sponsored by Northern Ireland citizens.

According to the data, Belfast has the most visa sponsors (95), followed by Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon, and the council districts of Newry, Mourne, and Down, each with 90.

Four refugee assistance centres have been constructed in Belfast, Newry, Craigavon, and Ballymena.

According to Mr Snowden, officials believe that 90 percent of Ukrainian refugees in Northern Ireland arrived via Dublin Airport.
