Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) officials have roundly condemned the story regarding the divorce between Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
Ex-SAPM on political communication Shahbaz Gill shared a screenshot of the headline of a news story about the divorce of Imran Khan. The headline said that Bushra Bibi, Khan’s third wife, has filed for a divorce.

In his tweet, Gill condemned the story and said, “Our history has witnessed another disgrace in the name of journalism today.” According to him, the news of divorce of a woman in Gujrat, who is also identified as Bushra Bibi, was associated with the former first lady.

The PTI official also wondered if the opponents of Imran Khan would attack every woman named Bushra Bibi.
