Elderly Nun run over by homeless women

 A former nun was ran over by a homeless woman, who attempted to steal the car of the nun, 73-year-old Lorraine Lombardo was dropping off a gift in the parking area of the notable St. Mary’s Episcopal Church when police say that a lady bounced into her vehicle and endeavored to drive off with the 2013 Chevrolet Flash.

Suffolk Region police said Lombardo surged back to the vehicle and attempted to get the wheel to keep the lady from heading out. The suspect purportedly turned around the vehicle prior to speeding up and pushed Lombardo over, somewhat running over her legs. She then, at that point, smashed the vehicle into a fence and guardrail.

A witness who lived near the church said that the woman argued with Lombardo saying she was actually the owner of the car.

“That is super miserable that you’re that frantic to need to take another person’s vehicle as they’re carrying out something worth being thankful for,” said Kathleen White.

Police said that the congregation’s cleric called them to report the occurrence.

Albeit the suspect took off from the occurrence, police utilized a helicopter and canines to find her and capture her. They recognized her as 50-year-old Doreen Dunbar.
