The band FuZZrd has released a live video for “Monster Carnival,” which you can watch here. All streaming services now have access to the audio recording. “It was such a terrific feeling to release Near Life Experience and play our first handful of shows to end 2021,” says singer and guitarist Brett Petrusek. I’ve always imagined 2022 as the start of our journey, and I’ve always felt grateful that we were given such a head start in developing our music, feel, and material. We’re excited to launch it in the coming year as we continue to build on the foundation we’ve laid together.”
Guitarist Eric Fairchild offers, “It has been thrilling to finally be in a room playing music for people again. To feel that energy, and reignite that fire in all of us. As the 2022 show schedule takes shape, I can’t wait to raise the bar and show people what FuZZrd is all about.”
On December 11th, 2021, the band taped their concert at the Southern Theater, which was staged the same week as the release of Near Life Experience. “I’m just incredibly happy of what we’ve accomplished this last year,” Petrusek said as the studio debut hit the streets. It feels good to see and hear the record in its final shape. It’s a powerhouse, and it absolutely falls into the “record I’ve always wanted to make” category. Our chemistry with our producer, Jeremy Tappero, grew stronger, and we all progressed as musicians. I really like the music and sound we’ve come up with. It’s fresh and new, and it’s clear that it doesn’t follow trends. It keeps faithful to its roots in heavy rock. It’s incredible to see FuZZrd come to life, perform live shows, and share our music. Everything we’ve accomplished has been extremely fulfilling. I’m quite thrilled to be a part of this group.”
