Vitaliy Kim, head of Mykolaiv’s regional military administration, said that Russian forces continued shelling the city of Mykolaiv overnight.
The officials prompted for imposing a curfew ahead of Easter.
“There was shelling again tonight,” he said.
He added that they hit a café and there were no casualties, “thank God”.
Kim said that the curfew would be in effect from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
The announcement came after the chief of regional council, Hanna Zamazeeva, announced that the attacks injured at least 20 people.
These injuries were held in just two days.
Over the last three weeks, violence has erupted between Mykolaiv and Kherson in the southeast.
As Ukrainian forces launched counter-attacks, Russian forces continue to bombard the cities.
Russian forces have shelled Mykolaiv on a regular basis, although the city remains under Ukrainian control.
