MEGHAN Markle was supposedly “eager for luxury freebies even after joining the Royal Family” and “believed they needed her more than she needed them,” according to reports.
According to Tina Brown, author of a new book on the Royal Family, the Duchess of Sussex desired “leading-lady” status in the UK.
Brown reveals what Meghan’s life was like before she met Harry in the book, and how her then-blog, The Tig, was a method for her to receive luxury stuff.
“She had a reputation among the marketers of premium goods as being warmly interested in getting bags of designer swag,” she writes in “The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor – The Truth And The Turmoil.”
Meghan apparently continued to try to receive gifts from expensive businesses after she married Prince Harry.
Meghan allegedly wrote in a communication from the Duchess’ staff to a publicist, “‘Make sure [the publicist] knows that she may still give me anything.”
“She’s always been one of the decent ones,” says the narrator.
Also revealed by the book is the purported spat between Harry, Meghan, and Angela Kelly, the Queen’s dresser and assistant.
The quarrel is said to have erupted over the tiara to be worn during Meghan and Harry’s wedding.
Meghan allegedly employed Her Majesty’s trusted adviser as a Hollywood stylist, according to Brown.
“Meghan didn’t — or couldn’t — understand the difference between the Queen’s personal aide and an NBC Universal contract stylist,” she writes.

According to the biography, the two brothers’ relationship was poor before Meghan Markle arrived on the scene, since they had a competition over their shared interest in conservation.
Mrs Brown notes in the book that “friction between the brothers intensified over their professional orientations.”
“When it came to his father’s ownership of the environmental platform, William recognised he had to respect hierarchy, but he was less ready to bow to his brother.”
SWAG GRAB
Mrs Brown has also said that the Sussexes are “addicted to drama” and that the Duke of Sussex would one day “wake up” and discover he’s living in Gwyneth Paltrow’s Goop.
Meanwhile, after Prince Harry snubbed the Queen in an explosive interview, Prince William and Kate Middleton put on a brave front this week.
On the Queen’s birthday, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge paid a visit to the Disasters Emergency Committee headquarters in London.
Their arrival occurred just hours after Prince Harry started a new spat by claiming on American television that he is “protecting” the Queen.
On NBC Today, the Duke of Sussex stated that he is ensuring that Her Majesty has “the appropriate people around her.”
William steered clear of queries concerning his brother Harry’s remarks on American television about “protecting” the Queen.
The “breathtaking arrogance” of Harry, who had not seen his grandmother in over a year until last week, left Palace staff reeling.
