The ninth and tenth buses transporting migrants who crossed the southern border into Texas arrived in Washington, D.C.

President Biden’s decision to end Title 42, which allowed the US to deny entry to migrants, prompted Texas Governor Greg Abbott to implement a divisive policy of busing migrants who volunteer to travel to the nation’s capital.

“The Biden Administration will be able to more quickly satisfy the needs of the folks they are permitting to cross our border by busing them to Washington, D.C.,” Abbott stated last week. “Texas should not have to bear the brunt of the Biden Administration’s border security failure.”

Abbott said earlier this week on “Hannity” that he was obliged to come up with “new solutions to do the federal government’s job” as border checkpoints struggle to handle the flow of individuals wanting to enter the US and the Biden administration moves to repeal the Title 42 expulsion clause.
