In more ways than one, the year 2022 is significant for Priyanka Chopra. This year, the actress embarked on one of the most incredible journeys of her life as she became a mother for the first time.

Priyanka Chopra, who has been married to Nick Jonas for nearly three years, gave birth to her daughter via surrogacy earlier this year. Moreover, the Dil Dhadakne Do actress will turn 40 on July 18, marking the start of a new decade in her life.

So, when asked about her plans for her 40th birthday celebration, Priyanka gave indications about where she wants to ring in the new year.

In an interview with Travel + Leisure, the new mommy said that while 2022 has been a life-changing year for her, she is looking forward to the future, “I am curious about where my career will take me, my life will take me. I’m at a place where I feel like I’m at the precipice of change and I’m ready to accept it and receive it.”

“I don’t know what we’re going to do yet, because my husband and I plan each other’s birthday, but I know what state of mind I want to be in.  Also, I hope I have sand between my toes while I turn 40”. To note, Priyanka has an inclination towards oceans and loved to be at places by the ocean,” Priyanka ended.

On the job front, Priyanka Chopra’s most recent Bollywood film, The Sky Is Pink, which she co-starred in with Farhan Akhtar, was released in 2019. The actress will reunite with Farhan for his directorial comeback, Jee Le Zaraa, which also stars Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
