Joel Cohen was elected associate national executive director, and other council members were appointed at the guild’s most recent elections.
Chuck Parker, the Art Directors Guild’s national executive director, was re-elected to another three-year term in the IATSE Local’s most recent election.
In an election held between March 29 and April 18, members re-elected Parker, a production designer who has led the guild for two terms since his first election in 2016, to a third term. Joel Cohen, a business representative, defeated incumbent associate national executive director Dooner in the election (one name). The guild, which announced the results on Wednesday, has stated that the vote tallies for this election will not be provided.
In a statement, ADG national president Nelson Coates said, “I am thrilled that ADG 800 members have acknowledged the accomplishments and leadership of National Executive Director Chuck Parker in this election.” “I am looking forward to continuing our collaborative efforts on behalf of our 3,100 members to strengthen the Guild.” I’d also like to thank outgoing Associate National Executive Director dooner for his years of service, and welcome new Associate National Executive Director Joel Cohen to the ADG team.”
Evan Rohde was elected chair of the Art Directors Council and a board member, Susan Bolles was elected vice chair, Nikki Rudloff was elected secretary, Oana B. Miller was elected treasurer, Mark Worthington and Dina Lipton were elected board members, and Korey Washington and Michele Yu were elected council members. Tim Wilcox was elected chair of the Illustrators and Matte Artists Council, with Jarid Boyce as vice chair, Casey Bernay as treasurer, and Chris Brandt and Fae Corrigan as council members.
Kristen Davis earned the Set Designers and Model Makers Council chair post as well as a board seat, while Adriana Dardas was elected vice chair, Carol Bentley was elected secretary, Marco Miehe was elected treasurer, and Rebecca Coulter and Sam Ogden were elected council members. Clint Schultz was elected council chair and received a board position on the Scenic, Title, and Graphic Artists Council, while TJ Searl was elected council vice chair. Members chose to elect Alex Maziekien and Eric Rosenberg to the ADG board of directors, as well as Johnny LeBlanc and Anastasia Sergeeva to the Scenic, Title, and Graphic Artists Council.
