In a lighthearted farce, Ebanie Bridges ‘knocked down’ a male boxer before towering over him and calling him “pathetic.”
Bridges won the IBF female bantamweight title last month following a hard-fought ten-round victory over Maria Cecilia Roman. However, it appears that the Blonde Bomber is now putting her abilities to good use by promoting Instagram comedians.
The hard-hitting boxer made an appearance in a spoof on content producer Paul Olima’s website, in which he pretended to be a big-headed boxing champion. In the film, Olima arrives for sparring and is informed by his instructor that he will be fighting Bridges in the ring.
Olima sneered when he saw the real-life champion waiting for him: “What, a girl?”
“Are you ready?” the former player questioned as he squared up to tackle Bridges. “Are you certain?” He said that with a smirk on his face.
Bridges then deflected the Instagram star’s fists before landing a left hook to the torso and another to the face. Olima, who has previously subbed for Mario Balotelli, Anthony Joshua, and Yaya Touré, then pretended to be knocked out flat on his back.
Bridges appeared in the comedic cameo, standing over her fallen victim and shaking her head in displeasure, before adding, “Pathetic.”
Olima revealed it was a farce in the comments area, but conceded the Australian boxer didn’t pull any punches, writing: “It was supposed to be a skit…. You can see how she couldn’t even manage 50 pence “”Recent.”
He even retaliated against a fan who questioned the validity of the punches, directing them to outtakes of his gums bleeding and Bridges apologising.
“Watch the outtakes dude took trauma for the gramme,” the influencer wrote.
