Former Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Fawad Chaudhry, said that removing current Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja would be a huge disservice to national cricket.
On his official Twitter handle, Fawad said that the new government will look to change the officials within the cricket governing body.
“PML-N has yet again proved they’ll never change, same tactics sacking Ramiz Raja will be a huge disservice to Pak cricket he is not PTI, he is a top-of-the-line cricket technocrat, they’ll use PCB to accommodate their cronies,” Fawad wrote.

Fawad made his remarks when news broke that Raja would be removed from his chairmanship by the newly elected government.
Najam Sethi, the former chairman of the PCB and a close ally of the PML-N, is set to follow Raja as the board’s next chairman.
