In a disturbing final tweet hours before her death, bodybuilder Stacey Cummings claimed she was reminding herself of “what I’m capable of.”

In a terrifying last post hours before her death, TRAGIC bodybuilder Stacey Cummings claimed she was reminding herself “what I’m capable of.”

According to Generation Iron, the 31-year-old died on April 20. Her cause of death has yet to be determined.

Mom-of-two On Wednesday, Stacey posted a photograph on her Instagram feed of herself competing in a bodybuilding competition.

“Just trying to remind myself what I’m capable of….circa 2019.” she wrote.

“#FindingMyself #SelfLove #SelfWorth,” Stacey added.

Cummings, a Florida native, began competing in 2013 and obtained her IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness) pro card in 2016, according to Generation Iron.

She participated in the bikini class at the IFBB Texas Pro in 2021.

“It is with deep hearts that we announce the terrible and untimely demise of IFBB Pro Stacey Cummings,” the National Physique Committee’s Texas section announced.

“Stacey was a mother of two lovely children, a daughter, a sister, and an amazing friend in addition to being an athlete.

“Though she will be deeply missed, she will be remembered. Her family, friends, and everyone who knew and loved her are in our thoughts and prayers.”

As word of Cummings’ death spread, dozens more tributes came in.

“What a lovely woman,” Cummings’ friend and fellow IFBB professional Kelly Lynn said online. I can’t believe what I’m hearing. In 2020, we performed three performances together, and I was at Nationals when she went pro. What a bizarre situation. Only 31 years have passed.

Betty Pariso, an IFBB pro bodybuilder, and her husband Ed said: “We are heartbroken to learn of the demise of IFBB Pro Stacey Cummings. She was a stunning woman on the inside and out.

“Ed and I had the pleasure of working with her several times at our workshops throughout the years.

“She was usually the first to give assistance. Her absence will be felt by all of us. Her entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.”

Flex Fitness 24/7 in McKinney, Texas, was also co-owned by Cummings.

The athlete’s demise comes only days after Arnold Classic champion Cedric McMillan passed away.

According to Generation Iron, McMillan had a heart attack while on the treadmill.

He had been putting off his comeback to competitive bodybuilding due to health difficulties, but he was hopeful that he would be able to do so in the coming months.

McMillan won the Arnold Classic in 2017 and is credited for introducing the “classic” aesthetic to Men’s Open bodybuilding.
