While speaking with US House Speaker Paul Ryan in Washington, Ukraine’s prime minister addresses the country’s financial requirements.

On Thursday, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal had a few words on Capitol Hill.

Ukrainians “feel strong support from the United States, from President Biden,” according to Shmyhal.

He emphasised the necessity of sanctions in addition to other sorts of assistance, and listed a variety of financial requirements, including for internally displaced persons, Ukrainian refugees, and “mine-cleaning activities,” stating, “We need money, we need technologies, we need help.”

People are suffering in places near significant fights, according to Shmyhal, and they require assistance. He stated, “There is no food, no water, and no electricity.”

“We want to do more,” Pelosi said, referring to President Joe Biden’s declaration that he will make a formal request for Congress to approve a second supplemental financial package to help Ukraine.

“The President stated that he will seek additional funding from Congress. “We’ll find out about it in the next day or so and take action as soon as possible next week,” Pelosi added.

Pelosi commended Biden’s efforts during the Ukraine crisis, calling him “a unifier.”

She expressed her displeasure with Russia’s activities. Pelosi stated, “Words are nearly insufficient to explain it.”
