The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) and the district police on Thursday killed four suspected terrorists during a joint operation in Bannu.
The intelligence-based operation was conducted after verifying reports about the presence of suspected terrorists who were in the area for terror attacks.

The terrorists opened fire on the CTD officials, causing the raiding team to respond effectively. Weapons in large quantities have also been seized from the terrorists.
On Tuesday, Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said one terrorist was killed in a fire exchange in North Waziristan district.
The military media wing said the fire exchange took place between security forces and terrorists in the general area of Datta Khel, North Waziristan district. The statement said, “During an intense exchange of fire, terrorist Fareed Ahmed got killed.”
On Sunday, two Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists were killed by security forces in a joint operation in Dera Ismail Khan (DIK), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
