Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas had their first child via surrogate earlier this year. Despite not confirming it in their announcement, the couple became parents to a baby girl. TMZ revealed their baby daughter’s name three months after her birth.
According to the media, Priyanka and Nick’s kid is named Malti Marie Chopra Jonas. Malti was born at about 8 p.m. on January 15 in San Diego, California.
While the couple hasn’t confirmed the baby’s name, it appears to have a special value for them. The couple has picked a Hindu name for their baby daughter as well as the middle name Marie.
Priyanka and Nick welcomed their first child on January 21. The couple said in a modest statement, “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate.”
The couple hasn’t made any more public announcements or posted any images of their daughter after her birth.
Priyanka recently discussed her new role as a parent with close friend Lilly Singh, expressing her desire to raise a child without limiting their hopes and aspirations.
