Ukraine

“Amazing” is how Joe Biden describes the Ukraine military’s steadfast resistance. At a meeting with his top defence advisors on Wednesday he said, “They’re tougher and more proud than I thought. President Biden said a “unified, focused, and energised” Nato has shocked Russian President Putin.

“Weapons and ammunition are arriving daily, demonstrating the value of our global alliances and partnerships. Following up on its pledge of $800 million in military assistance to Ukraine last week, the United States is expected to provide another package of military assistance in the coming days.

In her daily press briefing, White House spokeswoman Jen Psaki did not hint at future assistance.
But she pledged that the administration would “do everything possible” to help the Ukrainian government and leaders fight back.
