After her cousin Jase Parker died of a rare cancer, Olivia Holt shared some of her favourite memories with him. Olivia’s heartfelt tribute to “everyone’s favourite little buddy” is below.
Olivia Holt is mourning the death of a close family member.
With a series of photographs and videos of the two together, the Cruel Summer actress announced the news of her cousin Jase Parker’s death on Instagram.
On April 19, she tweeted, “It’s been a heavy couple of days.” “I still refuse to believe it. I’m not sure if I’ll ever understand what’s going on here. It feels strange to come on here and share a small assortment of memories without you present.”
Jase was diagnosed with a rare disease when he was 18 months old, the same cancer that took his brother Kaden’s life, she revealed in a post on Feb. 28. She went on to claim that despite the discomfort, he “fought this fight harder than ever,” laughing the entire while.
She wrote, “I’m so delighted your small body isn’t in any more misery.” “You didn’t deserve to be hurt in any way. You were an angel on this planet, Jase Parker. a formidable force to be reckoned with You had never met a stranger before. You showed me how to be a strong and kind human being.”
She included videos of the two laughing around and playing games with social media filters in the post. Olivia can be heard exclaiming “beautiful” in one video as Jase displays rings from all of his finders and poses with them on his face while Olivia giggles in the background.
Olivia said, “Man, I can’t wait to embrace you again one day.” “You were the king of embraces. the type that no one will ever forget. and you made certain of it. Everyone’s favourite little buddy was you.”
“My body hurts for nana and papa, your mother, sister, and dad,” she added.
Cameron Monaghan and Lucy Hale, among others, expressed their sympathy in the comments section.
Even though he is no longer with her, she has something to remember him by: pizza-flavored Pringles. She expressed her gratitude to him for introducing her to the food, stating, “From now on, I’ll be eating them in your honour. It aches because I love you so much!!!”
She explained in her article about Jase on February 28th, “He’s in excruciating pain right now, and the fight has only intensified. And, with a heavy heart, I’d want to respectfully request that everyone find a quiet minute today to say a prayer for this remarkable youngster.”
