The team’s collective bowling performance and a blistering 60-run knock by David Warner led Delhi Capitals to a nine-wicket victory against Punjab kings in a one-sided 32nd match in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022.
After winning the toss, Delhi skipper Rishabh Pant invited Punbaj to bat, and the decision proved to be advantageous. After a promising start of 33 runs from Punjab’s openers, Delhi’s bowlers took entire control of the game, dismissing the opposition for just 115 runs.
Khaleel Ahmed, Lalit Yadav, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav were all outstanding with the ball for Delhi, each taking two wickets, while Mayank Agarwal (24) and Jitesh Sharma (32) were the standout scorers for Punjab.
