Taylor Lorenz has been called a “hypocrite” for doxxing the creator of “Libs of TikTok.”

Taylor Lorenz, the internet culture beat reporter for the Washington Post, has been accused of “doxxing” the anonymous woman behind the popular Twitter account “Libs of TikTok.”

Lorenz, a former New York Times journalist who broke down in tears on MSNBC earlier this month while recounting online “harassment,” published an article on Tuesday revealing the identity of the social media user.

The act of posting personal information of those who wish to remain anonymous is referred to as “doxing.”

After it was claimed that Lorenz showed up at the home of the woman’s relatives to ask questions, critics accused her of hypocrisy.

The “Libs of TikTok” account, which posts TikTok videos from liberals and has generated more than 662,500 followers, posted an image of Lorenz outside the home of one of her relatives.
