Russia-Ukraine Live: Russia bombs Azovstal steel plant; 1,000 Ukrainians were sheltered

Recent updates from Ukraine declare the start of a new offense in the eastern region by Russia as confirmed by President Zelenskyy. Russia strikes with  “bunker-busting” explosives on the Mariupol steel plant where recently the last Ukrainian fighters and civilians were taking shelter.

Earlier updates told how Zelenskyy asked for a humanitarian corridor for civilians to escape through from Russia but Putin had no response to that.

While suspicions are coming out when Russia indicated they may use nuclear weapons against Ukraine if the war escalates. However, the ex-ambassador thinks that Vladimir Putin using nuclear can be likely.

A Video Footage has been released by the Mariupol city council that shows the after-effects of the attack on the Azovstal steel plant as smoke and ashes can be seen plummeting from the plant.

Earlier, the council had said that more or less 1,000 civilians were still inside the steel plant and so suspicions of said causalities are arising after the attack by Russia’s explosives.

The city of Mariupol, has been the main center of focus for Russia since war started and now seem to be almost falling under Russian control.

However, soldiers are undeterred and keep fighting to the end as declared by Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
