How much Erling Haaland will really cost Manchester City?

Erling Haaland looks set to be heading to  Premier League this summer after Manchester City triggered the Borussia Dortmund star’s £63 million release clause.

And Pep Guardiola side are understood to have discussed financial package worth £500,000 per week for the 21-year-old striker in a five-year deal, and the transfer expected to sealed ‘within the next week’, according to multiple reports.

Norwegian would earn a staggering £26m a year, totaling £130 million over the whole contract. Making him the highest paid player in world football.

the city have still to fully replace Sergio Aguero, who ended his decade Etihad stay last summer after their failed pursuit of Spurs talisman Harry Kane.

Still could have to fork out almost as much as the cost of the transfer fee on agent fees to secure Haaland.

Though it is thought that there is a demand for the Manchester club to pay £17m in agent fees for Mino Raiola and£17m to his father, Alf-Inge Haaland.

That adds up to an eye-popping £227m in total when you factor in the release clause, wages and added payments.
