A man jumped off a Carnival Cruise, Mardi Gras ship into the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday.
The Coast Guard positioned two patrol boats and an airplane to search for the unidentified 43-year-old.
The jump of a person shook the vacationers. The incident made a fuss, with people running and screaming on the ship’s deck.
Military and Carnival officials said that the man plunged after midnight, about 55 miles east of Port Canaveral.
The cruise had departed from Grand Turk, and was initially stated to finish its route to the naval port.
Carnival spokesperson, Malt Lupolt said, “The Carnival Care Team is supporting the guest’s family.” He added, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the guest and his family.”
The incident had been occurred three times in the past three months.
Previously, the body was recovered from the Caribbean Sea.
