Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader Raja Pervaiz Ashraf elected unopposed as speaker National Assembly. Panel of chair Ayaz Sadiq took oath from the newly elected speaker.
Raja Pervaiz Ashraf after taking oath expressed gratitude for PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for nominating him.
He labelled his election as a mark in the history.
The newly elected speaker maintained that his prime responsibility would be to remain loyal to the House.
