After starving the queen for two years, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle appear to be promising the Queen more great-grandchildren love.
According to a senior royal source, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have assured the 95-year-old that they will return to the UK following their recent day visit, and would be accompanied by their children Archie and Lilibet.
When Harry and Meghan arrived in Windsor on Thursday for a “very pleasant and good natured” and “extremely friendly” reunion with the Queen, they surprised royal fans.
“Both the Duke and Duchess are fully aware the Queen is becoming elderly and has had health concerns linked with her great age,” a source close to the Sussexes said.
“They have stated unequivocally that they want to see the Queen with their family in the near future.”
On their trip to the Netherlands, Harry and Meghan made a quick detour to greet the Queen and Prince Charles. This week, the pair will be visiting the Invictus Games.
Meanwhile, speculation is rife that the Sussexes may attend the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities this summer.
“There is a strong desire for everyone to get together as much as possible for the Queen.”
