ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday expressed the resolve to work closely with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to realize the shared vision of strategic partnership.
Sharif took to Twitter and said that Pak-Saudi relations are special & marked by exceptional trust.
He also thanked Custodian of Two Holy Mosques HM King Salman bin Abdulaziz & HRH Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman for felicitation messages on his win as a Premier.

Earlier, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman congratulated Shehbaz Sharif for assuming a charge as the 23rd Prime Minister of Pakistan.

“Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has sent a cable of congratulations to Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on the occasion of his taking oath of office”, said the state-run agency of Saudi Arabia shared a tweet.
The agency added that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, also sent a cable of congratulations to the newly elected Sharif who becomes the new Prime Minister last Sunday after securing 174 votes from the National assembly.
