By telling the horrifying story of how her former closest friend sought her for the prostitution services, Ana Vianey Martnez Lugo is raising awareness for vulnerable young people.
The Mexican 21-year-old used the social media platform to recount her bestie’s betrayal in 2013 — and how her mother saved her in the nick of time.
Lugo claims in a now-viral video that has over 6 million views that her friend stated she had been selected for a student exchange to Spain and could bring a plus-one.
Lugo, who was just 12 years old at the time and was pleased to be chosen, was chosen by a buddy.
Following that, the ecstatic adolescent began filling out exchange forms in order to fly halfway around the world.
Lugo’s suspicions were aroused, however, when she came across a section in the paperwork that inquired, “Are you a v***in?”

Lugo informed her mother, who notified her daughter’s school. Following that, school officials claimed that the exchange programme did not exist.
The astute matriarch then paid a visit to her closest friend’s household, where she deduced the prostitution service plot while using a computer.
For over a month, Lugo’s best buddy had been dating an older boy. The boy allegedly threatened her best friend, telling her that if she didn’t enlist teenage prostitutes for a human trafficking organisation, her family would suffer.
“I had no reason to not trust her,” Lugo told Jam Press in an interview after her TikTok video went viral, “We had been best friends since we were 5 years old. She knew I would trust her.”
“I couldn’t believe that my best friend had done that,” the TikToker continued, adding that nearly a decade later, she still hasn’t forgiven her former pal.

Lugo says she attempted to put herself in her friend’s shoes, “It can’t have been easy to be with someone who was threatening your life and your family, all while you’re a minor.”
Her best friend’s treachery, on the other hand, was “wrong” and a “crime,” she determined.

Lugo is now pushing others to follow their gut instincts and appreciating her mother for seeking the truth.
Viewers responded to the TikToker’s story by leaving comments beneath the video, with many claiming they now have trust issues.
“You can’t trust anyone,” one wrote.
“They tell you not to trust strangers, but what they don’t tell you is that you shouldn’t trust those you’ve known all your life either,” another chimed in.
Meanwhile, a third bluntly declared: “With friends like that you don’t need enemies.”
