The mother of a 3-year-old boy who was fatally shot last month has been charged with manslaughter, Dallas police said.
Lacravivonne Washington, 26, had bonded out of the Dallas County jail after being arrested March 30 on charges of tampering with evidence and endangering a child in connection with the shooting of Jalexus Washington Jr.
She was booked into jail again Wednesday morning after turning herself in. Her bail was set at $50,000 on the manslaughter charge, and her attorney, Joseph Berry, did not respond to requests for comment.
