The Deputy Mayor of Dnipro, has appealed to Russian mothers to come and collect the dead bodies of Russian soldiers, which number over 1,500 in local morgues.

According to a Ukrinform correspondent, Dnipro Deputy Mayor Mykhailo Lysenko made the relevant statement on the Current Time [Nastoyashcheye Vremya] TV station.

“Right now, over 1,500 Russian soldiers’ bodies are being held in Dnipro morgues, and no one wants to take them away… We hope that some Russian moms will be allowed to bring their boys, whom they have raised their entire lives. We already have four refrigerators full of Russian soldiers’ bodies. After all, they are the children of someone,” Lysenko explained. Local governments, he says, will assist in organising.
