Newly elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has started making public relief announcements after taking oath on Monday.
In this regard, the PM has reached the office of the prime minister and started performing his official duties.
As per the orders of the PM, the working hours of government offices have been changed and there will be one weekly off (Sunday) for the government employs.
It has been directed to ensure the supply of quality and cheap items in the cheap bazaars during Ramadan and to ensure strict monitoring.
In this regard, Shahbaz Sharif has said that he will not tolerate any negligence in providing cheap items to the people.
Besides, an order has also been issued for immediate implementation of the announcements to increase the pension of pensioners and raise the minimum wage to Rs 25,000.
On the occasion, the Prime Minister told the officers that honesty, transparency, diligence and hard work are the guiding principles for the government.
