Anderson still finding answers for his omission

England pacer James Anderson is still perplexed by his contentious absence from the last West Indies tour.

English team’s ace bowlers James and Stuart Broad were ruled out of the West IIndies tour after a humiliating defeat in Ashes by 4-0.

ECB selection panel led by intern head Andrew Strauss decided to not include the two bowlers after former head Ashley Giles and head coach Chris Silverwood were removed from their positions.

Both Anderson and Broad, England’s all-time leading Test wicket-takers, have expressed their dismay after receiving a five-minute phone call from Strauss informing them that they had been left out.

After England’s 1-0 loss in the Caribbean, Anderson, 40, is keen to bowl his way back into the Test XI by shining for Lancashire in the first-class County Championship.
