The actress, Rebel Wilson comes back to life, after waking from a coma, in a recently released trailer for Netflix’s series, “Senior Year.”

The performer is a star cheerleader who wakes up 20 years later from a coma and decides to finish high school.
The 42-year-old actress plays a lady who wakes up from a 20-year coma she fell into following a cheerleading accident her senior year in Netflix’s high school comedy Senior Year.
She missed out on being prom queen since she didn’t get to finish high school and have her moment, so she resolves to return to class, even though times have changed without her.
“Everybody else has gotten to go on and live their lives, and what? I’m supposed to just jump forward? I mean, I just found out there are eight more Fast & Furious movies!”
Wilson’s character is shown excited in the trailer. “I wanna go back to school, finish my senior year. … High school was just like yesterday for me, it won’t be weird.”
Wilson wears her early-2000s stunted clothing to school as she learns about modern teen life and gains renewed confidence.
She is passionate to enjoy life after 20 years, “I’m gonna do something that I wish I had the confidence to do 20 years ago: be my real self.”
She shared the trailer on her instagram, “Get ready for high school…AGAIN! So excited to share the trailer for my new film #SeniorYear coming to Netflix on May 13th!”
