According to a royal expert, the Queen may limit her Platinum Jubilee appearances to only a few events after acknowledging that her battle with Covid has left her “exhausted.”
Before Buckingham Palace revealed she had contracted coronavirus in February, the monarch had been suffering from mobility concerns for months, forcing her to withdraw from high-profile public events.
Her Majesty spoke about her condition during a video conversation with the Royal London Hospital on Sunday to commemorate the Queen Elizabeth Unit’s official launch.
“It does leave one extremely fatigued and exhausted, doesn’t it?” the Queen replied to former Covid sufferer Asef Hussain and his wife Shamina.

“This horrible pandemic. It’s not a nice result.”
This has led to increased speculation that her Jubilee appearances will be significantly scaled back this summer, with royal biographer Angela Levin telling the MailOnline she believes the Queen will limit her activity.
She said: “It’s going to be very difficult and I think they will only show her in a few instances, maybe at the service at St Paul’s. That will be very important to her because she is a Christian
